The mission of God in the world
How is God at work in the world today?
Romans 8:28-39 gives missional confidence: nothing in all creation can separate us from Christ's love, so we can go anywhere, risk anything, for the mission. The golden chain assures that those God sends, God keeps.
Risk for the mission—the love holds
The hardest posting can't separate you
Go because the chain is unbreakable
συνεργεῖ can be "God works all things" or "all things work together" with God as agent
The aorist ἐδόξασεν (glorified) treats future as already accomplished
The list in v.35-39 represents every category of threat
